Is it possible to have: a passionate marriage; a thriving career; a healthy, beautiful body; more money than you ever dreamed possible, and enough “down” time to enjoy it – without running yourself ragged? The answer is a resounding YES.
Having it all is NOT the same as doing it all! Women need to clarify their “it” and their “all” for themselves – rather than focusing on living up to ideals inherited from parents, peers, media or culture.
Every woman’s definition of having it all will of course change from decade to decade, from day to day, and even from moment to moment. The thing to understand is that if you’re striving to fulfill an outdated vision for your life, you’ll never be satisfied! We don’t all want the same things. And even if we want to have the similar things like the body, house, man, kids (or not), money, career, etc each of those things has different nuances and the forms are different based on each person. For example, the qualities in a partner is different from one woman to the next.
The things we want now, will change as we ourselves change. What we want in our 20’s is different than in our 30’s and 40’s and beyond. Each desire gives birth to a new desire and what is inevitable is continuous expansion.
We need to pay close attention to our language. Any time we are being told or telling ourselves we “can’t” do anything, we need to challenge that thought and belief. We are amazing beings and we either choose to do or have something or not, it is not because we “can’t”. Language is so important because words have meaning and they carry a vibration with them. Saying “I can” gives a sense of hope and empowerment, whereas “can’t” is limiting and very constrictive.
Because our lives are not “perfect” or there is contrast that shows up in our lives does not mean we throw the baby out with the bath water. Meaning, our lives are not supposed to be concrete and “perfect”. They are always being informed and changed by the unknown and there is always contrast and chaos that exists in this universe that then creates order out of the chaos. The contrast always births the clarity and then the cycle continues.
Here is a simple 3-step process that you can use to create abundance in any aspect of your life where you are currently experiencing lack or dissatisfaction.
The formula is: Clarity + Alignment + Action = Manifestation
You need to create a turnaround in any aspect of your life is ask yourself three questions:
1) What do I want to create in this situation?
2) How do I hope to feel once I create that?
3) What action can I take right now to generate this feeling within me?
The mindset represents a 180 degree shift from the way most of us approach happiness. “Having it all” is not about being perfect, spreading yourself too thin, or trying to live up to someone else’s expectations of you. Having it all simply means having access to all of yourself, in any moment you choose it, and in every aspect of life that is important to you
